I have over 20 years’ programme and project management experience of systems implementation to large change programmes in various environments. My early career gave me first hand experience of customer service working for a large high street retailer as a Department Manager. I then went on to work for the largest provider of UK Health Insurance for twelve years as a business analyst and project manager. The work involved small departmental projects to large million pound transformation programmes. Highlights included being involved in the project which won the 1998 European Call Centre of the year award and a re-engineering project resulting in a saving of £7 million in 1995. In the early years of Telos I arrived as a project manager and was also involved in the setting up of the business operations where I designed and implemented the management information system.
With my wealth of experience in organisational transformation programmes I have brought project disciplines and skills into Telos and I currently manage a number of programmes for our key clients. I understand the importance of communicating clear processes/procedures whilst supporting people through the behavioural change required to support and embed them. Change is a constant and so any help we can give to our clients in understanding and leading change is a job well done. Projects are varied from working with local firms to multinationals and so co-ordinating the different stakeholders and the Telos team around the globe can be a challenge given time and cultural differences, yet very rewarding. A highlight was being involved in the Sustainable Success Conversation, an evening engagement (promoting the long-term narrative) which has become an annual event with our clients.
