Andy helps businesses improve performance by linking profit and purpose and finding ways to drive commercial results through social and environmental progress.
He co-founded the consultancy Salt which pioneered the creation of commercial value from social and environmental initiatives, and was a founding UK B Corp. The business grew from start-up to multi-national scale – advising senior leadership in organisations including Unilever, Mondelez, Bayer and Lego – and eventual sale.
Andy uses proven models to help clients find the ‘swords and shields’ of sustainability for them. He supports them to identify those elements that are about compliance and those that can drive growth.

In his free time Andy enjoys bird photography and has had his first exhibition. He also enjoys finding birdies on the golf course and is a recent (‘very vocal’) convert to ParkRun.
