Nicholas is a professional actor, coach, consultant and lecturer, with a PhD in Accountancy and Financing and an MBA in International Business. He supports Partners for Leadership (P4L), our two-year strategic leadership development experience for senior leaders.
As a Research Fellow at the Centre for Responsible Business, University of Birmingham, Nicholas explores the topics of leadership development, workplace wellbeing, experiential learning, emotional labour, DEIB in leadership and leadership impact. He applies his research insights to design and deliver experiential learning solutions that help leaders and organisations achieve their potential and goals.
Nicholas has a background in acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has been a commissioner for Youth Employment UK and assisted in the design of the 2024 Young Person's Entitlement report on post-16 education and employability.
In August 2025, Nicholas returned (after an 11-year gap) to the BBC’s flagship soap opera Eastenders in the role of Anthony Trueman – an opportunity he describes as an ‘unexpected treat’.
