‘It’s good to talk’ – or so the saying goes.
But when it comes to employee ownership, it’s also good to be able to listen, network, discuss common issues and share best practice with those working in the same EO role elsewhere.
That’s why Telos Partners and JGA (Telos JGA) created ‘EO Connect’ exclusively for our employee-owned clients.
EO Connect encompasses our three peer support group networks: Trustee Connect, MD Connect and People & Culture Connect.
These were launched for employee trustees, MDs and people, culture or HR leaders, respectively, in businesses that are employee-owned.
A confidential space to share issues, network and learn

Each EO Connect network is open exclusively to current and previous employee-owned clients of Telos Partners and/or JGA.
They are all by invitation only and free for our clients to join. Meetings are held quarterly online, usually in September, January, April/May and June/July.
Each confidential 90-minute session offers a safe space for members to discuss what’s on their mind with others who have often navigated the same issues and have useful insight or experience to share.
The content of each session is attendee-led with the conversation focused on what they decide they want to share, explore and learn.
Questions are welcomed and the themes discussed are designed to be relevant to everyone, regardless of their sector or stage of EO. There's an option to invite expert EO guest speakers to contribute to specific meetings too.

Trustee Connect – our network for employee trustees
Trustee Connect – our very first EO peer support network – was launched by JGA in 2021 for employee trustees.
Those who become employee trustees often find they have no clear job spec or training, yet must juggle their ‘day job’ with all the legal and governance responsibilities they now have as a member of their EO Trust Board.
Our confidential peer support group enables employee trustees to network and learn from each other’s experience. It helps them to develop the clarity and confidence they need to be effective in this unique board-level role.
Trustee Connect is now hosted by Telos consultant (and JGA founder) Jeremy Gadd.

MD Connect – our network for MDs of employee-owned businesses
MD Connect was launched in 2024 for MDs of employee-owned businesses.
It enables MDs of our EO clients to network and learn from each other’s experience of the strategic and cultural challenges that commonly arise when leading an employee-owned business.
Over the last year, it has been encouraging to see how the MDs who attend have continued to strengthen and evolve this confidential network – and the honesty with which they share the pressures they face.
MD Connect is hosted by our consultants Alex Bloom and/or Jeremy Gadd.

People & Culture Connect – our network for EO people, culture and HR leaders
People & Culture Connect is Telos JGA's newest EO peer support network.
Launched in June 2025 following the success of our first two confidential peer support networks, it is for senior-level people, culture and/or HR leaders who are responsible for delivering great EO and employee engagement in their business.
People & Culture Connect is hosted by our consultant Corrine Thomas, with the support of fellow consultants Jeremy Gadd and Joanna Booysen.
